In Microsoft Project, integration to the Spitfire
Project Management System (sfPMS) is available in the following areas:
Toolbar: Buttons added for Project Information,
Task Information, View Profit Pain, and Synchronize Project with Spitfire,
and About Spitfire Integration.
Project Information: Uses sfPMS project
numbering format, Project Manager, Business Manager, Customer, and
Subaccount information is displayed.
Task Information: Uses sfPMS task numbering
format and includes contract type, revenue, other expenses, and status.
Profit Pane: A split screen with the Gantt
Chart view in the upper pane and the account categories in the lower
pane grouped by Total Work, Total Other Expenses, Total Revenue and
Total Profit. As tasks are selected in the upper pane, the lower pane
refreshes with the selected task's data.
Synchronize Project with sfPMS: Triggers
a refresh of information from Spitfire to Microsoft Project. This
function is also triggered automatically whenever the project is saved.
